Quick Start

1.1 Create Your SweetCare Account

Visit the SweetCare website or download the app, then click "Sign Up". You can register using your email or phone number. Enter basic information (name, age, diabetes type, etc.) to build a foundation for personalized recommendations.

1.2 Complete Your First Blood Glucose Sync

Go to "Device Connection", select your glucose meter brand (supports mainstream Bluetooth meters), and follow the pairing instructions. You can also manually enter your glucose values from the past 3 days. The platform will then generate an initial glucose trend chart.

1.3 Set Your Health Goals

Navigate to "My Goals". You can set targets for fasting glucose, post-meal glucose range, weekly exercise frequency, and more. The AI will provide daily suggestions based on your goals.

1.4 Join the Community and Connect with Doctors

Click "Community" to search for your doctor or patient groups of interest. First‑time joining may require a short application. Once approved, you can post questions or participate in discussions.

1.5 Receive Personalized Health Recommendations

After completing your profile and syncing data, the homepage will show "Today's Advice", e.g., meal suggestions, medication reminders, and exercise plans. Check it daily and mark completed tasks.

Account Settings

2.1 Edit Your Profile

Click on your avatar > "Profile". You can update your name, gender, date of birth, diabetes type (Type 1 / Type 2 / Gestational, etc.), and year of diagnosis. The AI model will recalibrate its recommendations accordingly.

2.2 Change Your Password

Go to "Security Center" > "Change Password". Enter your old password and a new password (at least 8 characters, including letters and numbers). It is recommended to change your password every 6 months.

2.3 Manage Privacy and Data Sharing

In "Privacy Settings", you can control whether to anonymously share your data for research purposes, disable personalized ads, or export all your personal data.

2.4 Link or Unlink Devices

Under "Connected Devices", you can pair a new glucometer, smartwatch, or CGM device. To unlink a device, click "Remove" and confirm. All historical data from that device will remain stored.

2.5 Set Notification Preferences

In "Notifications", choose which alerts you want to receive – medication reminders, low/high glucose warnings, weekly reports, or community replies. You can also set quiet hours.

User Guide

3.1 How to Log Blood Glucose Manually

On the dashboard, click the "+" icon and select "Add Glucose". Enter the value, measurement time (before/after meal), and any notes (e.g., "after breakfast"). The graph will update automatically.

3.2 Understanding Your Glucose Trend Chart

The trend chart shows your readings over the last 7, 14, or 30 days. Green zones indicate normal range; yellow means caution; red signals high or low. Tap any point to see details.

3.3 Using the Food Log and Carb Estimator

Go to "Food Log" to record meals. You can scan barcodes or search the food database. The carb estimator helps you calculate carbohydrates per serving and links to your post‑meal glucose.

3.4 Generating and Sharing Reports

Click "Reports" to generate a weekly or monthly summary. You can export the report as PDF and share it with your doctor via email or messaging within the app.

3.5 Setting Up Medication Reminders

Under "Reminders", tap "Add Medication". Enter the drug name, dosage, time(s) of day, and frequency. The app will send push notifications. You can log whether you took the medication.

FAQ

4.1 Is SweetCare free to use?

Basic features (glucose logging, basic reports, community access) are free. Premium features such as advanced AI analysis, one‑on‑one coaching, and detailed PDF reports require a subscription.

4.2 Which glucose meters are compatible?

SweetCare supports most Bluetooth‑enabled meters from Accu‑Chek, OneTouch, Contour, iHealth, and others. For non‑Bluetooth meters, you can manually enter values or use a compatible bridge device.

4.3 How does the AI provide personalized advice?

Our AI analyzes your glucose patterns, food logs, activity, and medication timing. It learns from your data to suggest adjustments in diet, exercise, or insulin dosing. Always consult your doctor before making changes.

4.4 Is my health data secure?

Yes. We use bank‑level encryption (AES‑256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for transmission. We do not sell your data to third parties. You can request data deletion at any time.

4.5 Can I use SweetCare without seeing a doctor?

SweetCare is a support tool, not a replacement for medical advice. We strongly recommend that you share your reports with a healthcare professional. The platform can help you find a doctor in your area.
